Rita Mayrhofer

Rita Mayrhofer, born in München, Germany, studied Landscape architecture and Landscape planning at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU). From 2000 to 2014, she worked as a partner in an office for landscape planning in Vienna, focusing on gender planning and sustainable design. Since 2014 she researches and teaches at the Institute for Landscape Planning (BOKU). Her research focuses on participatory open space planning, especially on sustainable community gardens and cooperation with nature.
